When people ask why I started a fishing charter business in Puerto Aventuras, the answer is simple. I love fishing. Not just the catching part — the chase, the ocean, the fight, and the stories told back on land.
But I didn’t come here to start a business.
I came to fish. The first time I chased sailfish in these waters, I knew I wasn't going back. But I needed a way to offset expenses.
That passion eventually turned into Wasabi LocoWasabi Loco Sportfishing Adv-— a charter operation built for real anglers who want real action.
🛥️ Not Just a Ride — A Real Fishing Experience
You’ve probably seen the touristy “fishing trips” where you get a rod and ride around. That’s not us. On Wasabi Loco, you’re part of the crew. We fish hard, whether we’re chasing sailfish, white marlin, mahi, tuna, or wahoo.
Our crew are tournament-tested professionals, and we have the boats.
⚓ What Kind of Fishing Do We Offer?
🎯 Trolling
We run a spread of 5–7 lines while on the move. This is how we target:

It’s high-action, adrenaline-packed fishing. If you want a shot at a trophy fish, this is it.

We’re based in Puerto Aventuras, right between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. These waters are home to epic seasonal runs:
